Searched but didn't find. I'm afraid I know the answer, but does anyone make a SYE for NP208 as a kit ready to go? I'd like to have the real deal where the tail cone is shortened, not a thing to bolt onto the end. I see that some people scavenge Dodge 208 parts and make it work, but I'm not sure I'm up to tapping my old case.

Do you have problems with it currently? I've beat the heck out of my little 208 with the correct length driveshaft and I've never bottomed it out or slipped it off the output shaft.

No, it's been fine, but it's in the back of my mind. A little more length on the driveshaft wouldn't hurt either.

Find a 241. I got mine for cheap.

Destroyed the tail shaft and rear case when I landed with the wrong wheel speed.

Tom woods sells one that shortens the tailshaft. Its pretty expensive but comes with a new rear driveshaft.

I agree to look for a np241 though. Stronger case all around, sye kits are bolt on and it has a lower crawl gear.

My np208 is still holding on after a couple years of hard abuse but Im holding out till I can afford to build a doubler to replace it.
