I'm taking off the rear tailhousing to replace the bushing which will hopefully fix the leak. I removed the four bolts, I could see, and the thing doesn't budge. I banged on it with a hammer and that didn't do any thing. I tried getting a screwdriver to pry the seal loose and that didn't work. Are there more bolts, or do I need to go to the gym? Anybody got any tricks to try?

If its a mid 80s to 90 mechanical speedo, the tailshaft piece is indeed only held in by those 4 bolts. There is no gasket, just GMS or silicone holding it together, so its probably pretty tight. Since the aluminum is very thin, I would not recommend hitting it with a hammer. If you must, then use a rubber mallet. You can probably pry it apart, just make sure you take care and dont gouge the mating surface. Good luck...
