Is it the same for a 700R4/208 and TH400/208? I'm swapping out a 700R4/208 in my '83 K20 in favor of a TH400/208 that didn't come with that brace. I didn't think about it until after I dropped the TH400 off to be rebuilt so I can't measure it right now.

The brace doesn't interface with the trans. There may be a length difference between the trannies, but the brace has slotted holes at the T-case, so it may not be a problem.

I used the one from my 700r4/241 on my th400/241 with no issues. It should be the same for the 208.

Yes and no... it uses one of the bellhousing bolts and interfaces on the back side of the transmission bellhousing. It's the combined length of the transmission and adapter that sets the length for the brace though.

I just swapped in a th400/208 with a brace already on it , the holes were slightly slotted. The differance between tranny and tcase combo is about an inch, So it should work.
