Np241 27 spline 32 spline

I need a 32 spline 241. I have a 27 spline. I found a 32 spline unit at a local wrecker but it's from an 89 2500 so it's driver drop. I know inputs can be swapped but I've been finding so much mixed info about what years swap and what don't. My 27 spline is passenger drop. Can anyone confirm whether or not the input from the 89 driver side drop will fit in to the 27 spline passenger side drop case without opening the cases up? I don't want to waste the money buying it then end up not being able to use it...

1993 down will interchange with yours. 1995 up will not. 1994 could be either.
