I scored a np241 27spline tcase today for $100. It has a 4bolt 700r4/4l60 adapter on it. I will be getting a 32 spline input shaft a sye kit. What adapter can I use to attach it to a 4l80? Will any 6bolt to 6bolt adapter work? I know where a bunch are but don’t know if they are all the same.

IMG_7392.jpegIMG_7391.jpegIMG_7390.jpegWent to the yard today and pulled a 4l80 adapter. There was also a 6l80 sitting on the ground so I pulled the adapter aswell. Even know you guys said it wouldn’t fit, which it won’t I thought I would just do a comparison to show everyone visually the differences. The 6l80 is the wider of the two. Hope this helps someone. 4l80 adapter in the top pic is on the right. Middle pic on the right and bottom pic it’s the bottom one. I got the adapter from an ‘04 avalanche 2500 and the 8.1l.

Clocking appears to be right but I won’t know until it actually goes on. No I didn’t pick up the motor. I just don’t have the space. They had 2 lm4(gen 3 aluminum block 5.3) there was 454, and a bunch of 6.0. I could go there twice a week and fill a truck bed with motors. I just have no where to put them. 2 weeks ago they had a Cadillac 500 motor. I just have to control myself otherwise I would have motors every were. They also had a dodge sno-fiter and a sno-commander I went and looked at just for fun, one had a np203 the other a dodge np208. Neither had the Dana’s 60front. They did have the 60rear thought.
