NP241 Burb question?

I have a 89 Burb and the switch in the top of the T-case is bad. I removed it and checked with a multi-meter. Is there a light on the dash that is supposed to light up when engaged? Local part stores say it is a dealer item only. Does anyone have one they want to get rid of??

Should be able to get them from GM for around $15, the 205 switch is that way. Probably the same piece.

Yes, the dash 4wd light should come on when in low or high 4wd.
