I've got a 27 spline NP208, and a 32 spline NV3500. I have access to a 32 spline NP241 which has a hole in the side of it due to being mashed onto a rock or something, but otherwise is in excellent operating condition.

Can I take the guts out of the NP241 and pop them into the NP208 to make a good NP241 to bolt onto the back of my NV3500? (try and say that three times fast! :haha:)

From what I understand parts are not interchangeable between the 208 and 241.

Thats unfortunate... Waste to just toss a free 241 away, but if the case halves are totally different, there isn't much I can do about it.

Guess I'll have to find myself a 32 spline NP208 input shaft

The front half of the 241 case might be worth making into a doubler for someone, its probably not worth much money but the parts are useful.

Throwing it away would be sad IMO, post it up here and someone will take it off your hands for the cost of shipping I'm sure.

And, as mentioned, I don't think any parts will interchange between 208/241's except the yokes, seals, and maybe the seal retainers.
