I have a clean NP241 passenger drop transfer case out of a 1990 Suburban. This is an electronic speedo version, but can be converted to speedo cable output. These cases are very hard to find in the passenger drop version! Ready to reseal and utilize in your off road project, or just upgrade your NP208! Includes shifter and adapter to attach to 700R4/4L60 transmission. $250

27 spline. Was behind a 700R4/4L60 trans. You can convert them, but I am not aware of a passenger drop NP241 with 32 splines from the factory.

Or a TH400. Or in 1991 you could get a 4L80e in a 3/4-ton or 1-ton square body. Both of those combinations would have had 32 spline input shafts.
True story. An 89-91 3/4 ton Suburban would have a 32 spline 241 no matter the tranny. An 89-91 K5 will have it with the SM465.

i had to do this swap on my last build. I actually robbed the input gear from NP243 that was in the 1996 3/4 ton suburban, installed that gear in the NP241 just like this, and bolted it back in the suburban behind the 4L80E. This allowed me to run a passenger side drop dana 60 for the SAS conversion.
With that being said, these are truly getting rare! I'm thinking about snagging this one up and keeping it on the shelf for down the road projects. My only issue right now is the shelf space.

Are you saying the input shaft swaps between the 241 and the 243?

Would you ship to socal?

Yes, I could build a small crate for it. I have shipped a couple before so should not be a problem. If you get me a zip code, I can get a freight estimate. I will work with you on the cost of shipping!

I sent my 241 via fastenal. I walked in with the case, set it on one of their pallets, and wrapped it with a few layers of plastic wrap. No crate required.

FWIW.

That's definitely an option if he has a fastenal close. Looks like about $78 for freight via UPS. I can check with fastenal in the morning. I have a couple small pallets here at work that I could strap it to also!
