Ya, I think ryan22re was working on something similar...

Duffy was saying in another post about it that he liked the 231 case better than the 241 and then run the 6 planetary unit out of the 241... I'll see if I can dig up that post also...

Yep, I was/am doing a 208 doubler. Taking me alot longer to do it though. I'd love to see some pics of it assembled. I hope that it has provisions for a tranny mount inbetween the 241 and 205.

I agree with some of the members over there, I want to see an assembled kit and some testing before I buy it. The post has been going on over two months and no pics yet...

No mount on that one. (I see that its a 231 kit). I seriously doubt that half of a 241 or the tranny adapter could hold up to the wieght of a 205 hung off the back of it. Plus the adapter plate is aluminium.

I'm sure that the guy will make a killing on it though.

Ya, that link was for the 231 but same set-up...

Madroosteroffroad does a 231 kit also.. He recommends making a crossmember with a bracket that bolts to a couple of the bolts on the adapter.

TJ(Big83chevey4x4) is working on a 208 doubler as well
