My 4l80e should be done today. I have been meaning to look into replacing the seal on my 241 transfer case as I think it has been leaking. Can anyone tell me how to do this? Is there anything else I should look at while I am there?

Input or output seal? For the output, just use a screwdriver or punch to gently pry the seal out and then tap a new one in using a suitable tool. For the input, I believe full teardown is necessary.

the input seal is easy to replace once you get the t-case out. i normally take off the 4 bolt retainer that the seal is in and change the seal on the work bench. the retainer is sealed with silicone so don't worry about that gasket. I would also get a transmission output seal because that is probably the culprit and not the t-case input seal. Also make sure that you put the seal retainer in the right position as it has the oil hole for the front bearing in it.
