NP241 super short rear output shaft (ie: doubler duty)

So... where can I get a super short rear output shaft for a NP241? All I want is the output shaft. I have a NP241 shaft I could have cut and new splines put on if it's possible.

As an FYI...

This is to see about making an aluminum doubler. It'd be real easy to make a driver 241/passenger 241 or driver 241/208 doubler. However, you need to shorten up the output on the first transfer case or else you have like 4' of transmission and transfer case

I think JB conversions will sell you just the shaft. Someone on here mentioned it before.

JB Conversions update

So, my friends and I call bullsh¡t. Either they don't make their own stuff (which wouldn't surprise me at all) or they are skeered that I'm going to copy it.

The first email they say they only keep the same number of shafts as housings... so that either tells me that they buy this stuff from someone else or that they buy their stuff from someone else. If they actually built them then they'd be more than happy to sell a kit plus an extra shaft because it's more money in their pocket (larger production run). The second email seems to reaffirm that theory.

We can't sell only the shaft since we keep the same number of shafts as
housings.
Thanks

I was wondering if you'd sell just the output shaft or sell that
particular
output shaft in addition to your NP241 standard or super short SYE kit.

Thank you for your time

We are the only ones who produce it.

Do you happen to know where I can procure just a shaft? I want to
experiment with one before I have to retube my driveshafts a bunch of
times.

Thanks again

Shaft price

$190.00 for a shaft.
To address your friendly comments:
No; we don't make the shaft. That is done by a gear cutting company.
We don't pour the bearing housing casting either. That is done at a foundry. It wouldn't be a brilliant idea to build a foundry and by gear cutting machines for the amount of product we design and have produced. John-JBC

Hey smartass, nothing wrong with taking care of your customers and at the same time helping them out when they are in need. No **** the housings are produced at a foundry. Word of mouth is your best advertising tool. Your comment here just reduced my opinion of your company.

Not to mention the fact that the reason he needed help was because one of YOUR techs screwed up.
