Hey guys, I've been looking all over and haven't found a straight answer yet so I'm hoping y'all can help me out... So I know the 241's have different splined inputs depending on what trans they were mated to but I haven't been able to find out if the outputs are the same way or not. I have an '89 K5 with the 27 spline input 241 and will be doing a 5.3 swap with a 4L80E. I was able to find a 241 from a '90 Burb 3/4 ton with a 32 spline TH400 that should mate up to my 4L80E but I wasn't sure if the slip yoke on my stock rear drive shaft will mate up to it or not. If not, I'm assuming I could just grab the slip yoke portion from the u-joint forward on the Burb's drive shaft and then swap it on to my stock drive shaft right? I'll eventually be doing a SYE with new drive shafts when I do the lift but that's another year or two away so I'd rather not drop the coin on a new one right now if I don't have to. What do you guys think?
