NP241c SYE with Dodge parts?

Buddy has a 241C that he wants to do a SYE on. Another buddy has a 241D with a cracked case. Can we pull the tail shaft bits from the D and put them into the C?

Couple versions of each. Narrow it down and I'll try and help. Which exact ones are you working with?

89 and 89 on both. Both cable speedo. Both passenger drop. One blazer, one ramcharger.

That is a very hard to find 241d. I'd say just put a gm input into the dodge case but that dodge case is probably pretty desirable. Just put a sye kit on the 241c and sell the dodge.

Usual method is Chevy front half and bits connected to Dodge rear half and bits.
