I have an np241c t case i have rebuilt and sye. Im switching transmissions and need a 23spline input like dodge np241d t cases have can i swap my current 27spline for a 23 spline somehow?

Another question fo they np241c and np241d clock diffrent? So here is the deal im looking to swap in a tremec tr4050 trans and im told a np241d will bolt right up and run. But i currently have an np241c that i rebuilt new bearings seals chain ect... its minty inside. And i sye it so i want to stick with mine. So if i can change the input to a 23 spline that would be great the only other issue is i think i read somewhere that they may clock diffrent betweenthe dodge and chevy cases anyone know if thats true and if so how much? Maybe if it is an issue i could fix the issue with a clocking ring?

Yes they do clock pretty different. I dont know what clocking ring to suggest though.
I just sold this one a few months ago and it honestly took a while to get 300 for it. See if you can find one and sell yours. 89-93 w150 and w250 gas trucks.

Gm clocking has the top stud practically at 12:00. You can see the difference from the dodge pattern here.

Might have to do that just hard to give up one ive already put money into and that i know is solid. I will look into if a clocking ring is an option and if not i will start digging for a dodge one thanks for the quick responses

FYI the pocket bearing in the input gear is probably not right, the bearing surface at the end of the main shaft is a different size between the GM and Dodge 241's I've taken apart. Getting the GM bearing in the Dodge/Jeep input might take some machine work.

The bolt patterns are the same but clocked ~90 degrees different.

I have the tom woods slip yolk eliminator installed which came with a new main shaft i wonder if that would also come into play when it comes to the pocket bearing issue you have described.
