Anyone happened to know what size nut for the rear shock stud? I'm a noob so I don't know how to search.

IIRC, this will depend on whether you have the original GM studs, or aftermarket ones like the Dorman replacements.

I believe the aftermarkets are 1/2-20 (fine), so maybe the originals are 7/16" fine? Easy to tell from the wrench size, if you have a nut to test. 3/4" wrench means 1/2" nut, and 5/8" or 11/16" wrench means 7/16".

I could go measure mine. But after the torrential down pour last night, I would be laying in the mud.

If I knew who you were, I might help.:D

I don't have said nut or I would take a picture or just take said nut to bolt store.

the missing nut problem.

I thought that just happened when you got married. She takes 'em, puts 'em in a jar up on the mantlepiece, and they only come down when she wants a baby or for special occasions.
