1/2 ton status
I posted about a couple of the 10mm bolts being stripped on the trans to TC adapter on the trans end. Theres enough left to snug the bad ones up somewhat but after driving it one top bolt is typically backed out about 1/8". If it wasent for the other top hole being still tight Id wonder if the two are comming apart as you drive and bounce around. With that looking at the entire mess aand cross member/TC mount placement and how much weight is hanging off the whimpy aluminum adapter and 4 bolts I wondered if anyone has had to two actually come apart while wheeling? I admittedly have never seperated a 208 from an auto and dont know how much shoulder or flange might be on the TC or trans or alignment pins are in there supporting some weight??
