Hi,

Starting to put together parts for an NV4500 conversion and found someone who recommended a sealed input bearing on the 203 to keep the special tranny fluid out. Anyone heard of this or know where I'd get one?

There is a seal on the output housing of the NV4500 that seals on the 203's input shaft, plus a gasket on the outer part of the output housing sealing it to the face of the 203...

I had the face of my 203 range box redrilled and bolted it up to my NV4500. New seal, new gasket and no leaks there, or any transfer of lube from the NV4500 to the 203. The seal keeps the NV4500 lube where it's supposed to be, and the gasket keeps the 203's lube where it's supposed to be.

That makes sense and have had several people say the same thing. I think the picture I saw may have been for a Jeep. I'll go with the advice and assume I'm good. Thanks.
