Does anyone know if there is a seal or gasket that keeps the fluid from entering the transfer case? I have a leak coming from the tcase its self but it isn't low on fluid. When I installed the transmission I over filled it by half a quart and last I checked it was still full. Cant figure out why I'm leaking a decent amount of fluid but nothing is low.

Any t-case on the back of a GM NV4500 will have a seal on the input, if your fluid is leaving the trans and getting to the t-case, that seal is bad.
So my np241 should have a seal? I'll have to find one for when I pull it to reseal it.
Yes, there is a seal in the aluminum bearing retainer on the front of the 241.
