NV4500 Shifter configuration?

This ad appears to be for an early-series GM NV4500. But unlike mine, the shifting stub shaft is straight and the shifter is bent. On mine, the shaft is bent and the shifter is straight.

Can anyone confirm that this is a GM configuration?

early years . and shifter handle is bent up weird . does he have the bell housing ? make it better for you .

The weird shifter is why I'm wondering if it really is a GM unit.

It's overpriced and quite a ways away, but I am looking for an early GM unit at the moment. If I find one I would use the SM465 bell housing.

that's what I said its early via the pop in shifter handle like a 465 . ( should of explained more )

later was 4 bolt hold down .

800 for a good 4500 is not bad I don't think .

So why is it different from my '92 and '93 units? Were there multiple forms of early unit?

Probably some spread on a top cover change. Here's my 94.

That's the later cover with removable shift tower. I thought that was a 95+ feature...
