Wanted NV4500 steel bell housing, scatter shield

I didn't know they had steel bells for those years.
I have a few of the sm465 steel bells I think you have to modify something but I know people use them
Not sure you still need this or if this will do but I have a bell from a chevy c60.
Has multiple mounting patterns on trans side and sae pattern with an adapter plate to chevy pattern on engine side.
I can get more pics.

DAYUM! That looks like a heavy bastard. Cast iron? I am keeping hope alive for a good deal on a steel bell housing but in the mean time the aluminum housing I have will work fine for moch up. It has a little damage on the cover portion over the passenger side slave cylinder but I don't think it will effect it's use.
It's a little heavy yes.

It was on c60 chevy with tall deck bbc and Clark trans or sm465

Any of the GM steel manual transmission bellhousings are adaptable to the NV4500. Lakewood and a few others make them. They are just 500 bucks or more.
that's why I asked what app... I don't know of any steels... everything I've ever seen was cast iron or alum...

I don't know what the application is either, I just saw one bolted up to a 2wd NV4500 in a friends diesel shop the other day on a customers truck. It was bolted to a 6.5 In a 95 3500 truck. I asked then and no one seemed to know so I thought I would look for one here. Been trying to get a hold of the owner for a week with no luck.
