NV4500 to ford NP205 shifter

I'm looking for transfer case shifter ideas. I need to moch up something to get some things started so let me see what you guys have come up with. Using a GMnv4500 connected to a ford NP205. I am aware the circular housing will need to be notched for the 205 to bolt up. So let's see some shifters!

Did you swap in the short input gear? are the shift rails in the same place just swapped side for side?

I’m using an ORD twin stick set up on mine. At least I will when i get the trans sorted out. Best pic i have, it’s in pieces right now.

Even with the AA spacer the tailhousing still has to be notched a bit to give enough room for the shift rail to extend fully.

Yes, short input gear installed, I notched the rear of the NV4500 tail housing to clear the shifter rail. Essentially it is the same, yes just swapped to the other side.
