O2 sensor connectors, etc

I'm rewiring my harness for a 2003 tahoe 5.3. It's going into a 78 K5. Are the o2 sensors the same? I'm missing one out of four and was checking to see if I can just hook a different connectors wires into the pcm. If the connectors are the same then Only the wire colors would end up different, right?

Yes all 4 oxygen sensors use the same style connector. Do yourself a huge favor and keep the wire colors correct for the location, i.e. don't use downstream wire colors in place of a upstream sesnsor.

which are the two upstreams? "sensors 1?" like bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1?

Bank 1 sensor 1 is the driver's side front sensor, bank 2 sensor 1 is the passenger side front sensor. Sensor 2 would be a downstream sensor and not usually used in an old vehicle swap.
