What program software do Those of you who do your own LS troubleshooting an ECM reprogramming use I was going to use Toad pro but read it might be sketchy on Not work on GMC and Chevys
any advise thanks

I use the Torque Pro app on my phone with a $15 Bluetooth adapter from Amazon. The app will only read data and will not give you any ability to change the "tune" at all. The app works fine with GM products as I've used it on my '97 S10, '05 Cad STS, '04 Trailblazer, and the 8.1 in my K5.

It can read diagnostic codes and live data. It does not replace a full-on scan tool, but for the price, it does do a hell of a lot.

torque pro is good, as is obd link.

If you're gonna do some actual editing, I think HP Tuners is really the only game in town. The scanning software it uses is very good also.
