Anyone got a good wiring diagram of the OBDII port?
I bought an after market one, need to wire up CHLOE.

I almost posted when you made this, but don’t have the brain power. The grounds are grounds, it just depends on the scanner you are using. You could wire it one way and if it doesn’t power on swap the pins.

For the signal ground at least.

I have a dedicated bus bar for the three electrical things I need.
1. Battery +
2. Key On power
3. Ground
So, I can have it anywhere I want and not have to rely on cruddy, rusty, 50+ year old metal for ground. Plus, having the different powers available makes doing almost anything in the cab super easy.

So you need 2 more lines, data from ecm and switched ground from ecm correct?

I don’t think so.
Serial Data goes to pin 2,
Grounds for pins 4 and 5,
Battery + to pin 16.
Should be enough to get it operational.

In one of the documents you posted it shows one ground and one switched ground.
I thought that is what the ecm provides.
Just making sure you are double checking everything

If there is a “switched” ground. I’ll have to run a new wire from the ECM. We’ll see what happens like it is now.
