OBD II software

Does anyone have any links or recommendations for OBD II software that I can load on my laptop to get real time data, codes, etc.? I have a basic scan tool, but would like to get something so I can plug in my laptop and to actually see what is going on. The cheaper (or free) the better.

I like the ease setup obd2.com inexpensive and can be used on a lap top, palm or pocket pc.
