when i start my truck up the belt squeels.. newbelts and they are all tighten and aligned as far as i can tell.. its a 350 motor, power steering, no a/c.. once it warms up (winter or summer) and i hit the gas it usually stops..if i start it up and go in reverse or drive it will still squeal. and to my discovery when i turn the heat on no matter how warmed up it is it will squeal a little while accelerating..

tia if anyone can help me with this, it is driving me crazyyy

also, im missing my keys for the doors and center console (most likely the same key) and the PO never gave it to me so can a key place make it or do i need new lock cylinders?

its a newer alternator, about a year, if that... but i will check that, but what do you mean, just the power to it? and i double checked with a flashlight and the one belt going to the p.s. pump is close to the fan belt right by the water pump is where it seems close.

you mean the squeek appears to be coming from the water pump?

It wont hurt anything to remove the alternator belt for a few minutes.

If it's coming from the waterpump... hmm...

your sure everything is tight...
Hmm...

the water pump is also new, but **** those things rust quick idk why! either way i will double check the tension on the belts. ill take the alternator belt off and i guess that will answer if the two belts are rubbing..if the squeak stops then it is an alternator bearing? if it continues then the water pump could be the culprit?
