I searched for hours yesterday trying to get a definitive answer, and couldn't find one. Some say it's impossible, other say almost a bolt. The ONLY reason I want to do this is for more gear. I have yet to find a factory 1/2 ton with 4.10s in it, and they are more than plentiful in 3/4-1 tons.

never seen or heard of a basic bolt in . its almost the who front end swap over . hate to say just not easy .

Car-part has a couple, but nothing close. I can get the 3/4 ton diff cheaper than car-part or buying 4.10s for the 1/2 diff. Pics are gone, but while searching some were saying the steering gets in the way, and one of the mounts needs to be cut and rewelded. Some even said the whole 3/4 ton setup will go in, but the upper mounts are different. Nothings ever easy, dunno why thought otherwise....
