We all know about the 203/205 combo. And Toyota dual cases are common.

But has anyone ever seens any odd combinations of dual t-cases done? A buddy of mine is toying with a NP241/D300 combo. He's got access to a machine shop so he can make the adapter, but just wondering if anyone's tried anything like this (or some other combo) before.

you can put a klune-v between almost anything

Thats a great idea when you have the cash . I was reading on those too . The np208/241 version is a drop in and looks appealing to me in the near future .

But it works when in 2wd too :D

A guy in the NW has a 203/Dan20 combo in his EB. No idea where/how he did it.

From my understanding the planetary's of the 241 are pretty strong, matched with the range of the D300 should give him a 5:1 Low/Low ratio or something. This is going in a buggy he's building and he's a manufacturing Engineer, so I'm sure he'll get it to work.

Oh, and did I mention he's already got the 241 and the D300, so all he'll have into it is a chunk of metal for the adapter and his time at the milling machine.

Pretty much sums up what is in a Klune. All they do is put it in a case with a pretty shifter.:D

I saw a 700r4/203/3spd landcruiser just the other day.
just in case you aren't a toyota nut, the 3 speed t-case refers to it being originally behind a 3 speed trans. not that it has 3 speeds.

If I had the machines on my property , I would make em too , and sell em to all the hard working wheelers for the same prices :D
