i always wanted to get a model like my blazer too. but have never found one.

I built a Jimmy when I was a kid. It was a 76 to 79 body with the hood with the lowered centers and a hideous roof rack. I don't remember but I think it was monogram. THe body was white or cream colored. Another one I built was a blue 76-79 that had a lift and some soft rubber ground hawgs just like the "Mad Mudder" that is styled as a puller. The jimmy and blue blazer both had the tops molded with the body. Sorry but no pics as these are packed up for the move.

I built the puller back in 85 , I was 11 . Then I remember setting it on fire months later .... kids huh :wink1:

Do you ever remember taking different kits and making stuff ? I had a 64 GTO with funny car tires in the back , and an El Camino on a 4x4 frame .

I used to build the kit as supplied and then get bored with them. Then I would disassemble as much as possible and rebuild combining kits too. I had a black 70's power Wagon with a 53 Chevy sedan body which was pretty wild. I also liked to mix parts from different scales to get the big tires for trucks. I guess that was really my first fender trimming experience.

i wouldnt say that there isnt a rc body...i have one its from a tamiya clodbuster is the mid 80s style p/u but you can make it a blazer pretty easy.

dang dude, your sittin on a little cash cow right there. those old bodies with the bow tie are getting pretty rare now a days

I started building the one on the left a while back, and that kit is a piece of crap.

I had no problems with it other than the tires. The set that came with it were all messed up. The bead was streached out and would no way go on the rim. I called and got another set and they worked fine. Just the guy on the phone was an asshole and thought I was trying to get another set for a diffrent kit and didnt beleave me that they were messed up. Now the other kit was a pain in the ass. It was a kit that had a lift kit added to it that no way lined up.

I would LOVE a suburban model, but I've never been able to find one.. Ebay has 44" boggers and 49" Irocks in the model car size
