After doing the 12V conversion on my M1008, I believe 1 battery was weaker than the other and both ended up leaving me stranded when it got cold. They were 900cca no-names 6yrs old so they were due anyway. looking for replacments I came across the Odyessey 2150, it has 2,150 cranking amps for 5 sec. It can discharge like a deep cycle and sit for 2yrs with full charge. I bought a 625ca for my yamaha grizzly a year ago and it made a big difference with the winch. anyway I'm very happy with it, cranks my 6.2 over in single digit temps without a engine heater (which I'm looking for now). and gives me some more room up front to route some intercooler tubing in the future.

I was looking at getting one ofe those, how much did it set you back?

I ordered from batteryweb.com in florida $232.00 + $38 shipping. locally they wanted $296.00 + tax. pricey but has a design life of 10yrs. 2 quality 1000ca batteries would set me back about $250 in comparisson.

Yeah if you look at it this way you paid similar amount for similar power but in a much smaller package so that is an advantage. :D
I might get this one once I find a job again. :o
