I am looking at "lifting" my stock K10 a very marginal amount of 1.25" in the front and 1.5" in the rear. This would be done with the OEM springs on all four corners with an ORD shackle & zero rate in the front, and 1.5" block kit for the rear. More or less wondering if that will be OK with the factory shocks. I assumed its probably sagged the better part of that small amount over the years but I could be wrong.

Truck only sees very mild off-roading on the sand dunes, otherwise its a cruiser. Thanks!

The stock shock is not enough for stock springs, it limits droop which in your case might not be a problem.
I say use the original and after driving it a while if you feel that it is limiting it too much then it's easy 2 bolts and you change them

I have stock springs, with 1 " zero rate blocks, on the front, and 2" blocks on the rear. If you want to wheel this truck, where suspension flex ISIMG_7352.JPG needed, it takes 3-4" lift shocks, to let the factory springs work, especially if you disconnect the front sway bar. You will also need longer brake lines!

I won't be doing any hard wheeling like that but that is the kind of experienced reply i was looking for. Do the shocks and brake lines limit out at about the same length? I'm undecided what to do with the swaybar but I will either leave it be or do a disconnect kit, I won't be deleting it.

If you run the stock shocks, they WILL limit the articulation, and you won't need new brake lines. If you run the longer shocks, and disconnect the sway bar, it will rip the front rubber lines off at the frame. This is completely stock.Picture 011.jpg

This is with 33's and the sway bar disconnected. If you zoom in on the front fenderwell, you can see the end of the sway bar, and the sharp turn down, that the brake line makes.Picture 017.jpg Picture 017.jpg Picture 017.jpg

Sorry about the 3 pics. First it didn't let me post one, and now I have 3. LOL This is with 1"/ 2" lift, 1" body lift, 33's 4" lift shocks, and longer brake lines. Sway bar removed.IMG_2768.JPG

Thats impressive. I'm just wondering if the brake lines would be "safe" if I left the bar connected. I don't plan on flex-testing it to the max like you are there I'm more concerned about it working and riding well on mild terrain.
