oem oil cooler

i have a 91 k5 my stock engine oil cooler is leaking.does anyone have an idea where i can replace this with an oem part:?all i can find are cheap looking autozone ones.i hate autozone. any input would be great!

Is it the cooler itself that's leaking? I would suspect the plumbing is more likely to go, and that's field-replaceable stuff.

yes the cooler is leaking, the fins are coated with oil.as well as the hard lines which i assume is leakdown.the fins at the top are oily

Huh. Well, you could get one from a dealer, but I betcha you can find an aftermarket one about the right size. Check out Summit (summitracing.com) or a good local parts house, after you've measured yours for size and fitting type.

Try the junkyard - got mine there dirt cheap has also held up damn well

The B&M trans cooler part number 70266 is actually a (long cooler = brand name) which is what the factory oil cooler is. The only difference is the fittings so you would have to change the lines as well. I just bought one of these from www.summitracing.com for 75.95 last year.

The actual dimensions are the exact same as the factory oil cooler.

any other imput would be great i just broke my cooler the other day on a trail here and its been a pain to find a replacement.
