i am going to be do some painting on my odr 203/205 and was thinking what did GM paint them?? -- i just may go with gm orange what did you do ??

I don't believe my '73 SM465/205 ever had paint on them. I think my '86 3sp trans (2wd) has black paint on it, but it's hard to tell with all the sludge on it

I used Hammered silver in 'brush on' form for my 205 and 203 and NV4500
Seems pretty tough to me.

GM didn't bother to paint them. They just ended up being rust colored after a while.

I love your tranny cart
Mine was originally GM red/orange, I squirted it GM orange when it was out. The tranny was rust/grease colored, painted it black. I used engine paint on both.
