well i have seen a couple blazers with roof mount cb antenna, they all seem to be closer to the topper than what mine is. so is there problems with were mine is mounted? like the roof flexing or bad ground?

Its pretty sturdy , ubless you hit something the exact height of the base , that is pretty unmovable .

Sheered mine off early 2006 Welded a washer over the hole , threw on some rattle can paint , redriled the washer hole , and threw another antenna on it .

Much stronger now

so if i find a low garage and hit that i will probaly rip the mount off. now what if the middle of the antenna hits something?

The whip bends .

Parking garages , take the antenna down . Ordering fast food , no biggie . Trees are ok if your crawling through them .

I meant like something reallhy bad like going kinda fast and hitting a thick tree or something .

Everyday use won't really bother it .
