Just received my exhaust bag lift.

This is the humvee jack I have, or at least that's how it was sold at a military vehicle show. Works great, handle folds up in 4 sections. My dad has the exact same one that he bought in the 1950's except the handle is 2 piece.
I really like to have something to put under the axle. We use the factory spinner jack a lot, they have a good lift range and are pretty durable. An aluminum floor jack with a skidplate is pretty awesome too but big and still heavy and only works under the axle. A highlift is big and heavy and works a lot of places. And is a winch. And a clamp. And if you ever have trouble with a zombie apocalypse you can just flip the lever and walk away and it'll take out like 20 of them by itself.
We have used a scissor jack on race cars and I'm not a huge fan. In a recreational rig where you can take time to keep it clean it'll probably work better, we had problems stripping the planetary drive on the HD version and stripping the threaded block on the others. Any of them require care in where you put them.

You have the high lift already, so why not get a short chain with hooks that you can hook to the holes in your wheel (assuming it has some) and use the high lift there? Then put a jack stand under the axle tube and remove your tire?
I have one of the Harbor Freight aluminum jacks that I use in my 1952 Dodge Coronet. I definitely didn't want to use the factory bumper jack. Had this jack for about 3 years. Just last week it started leaking oil out of a seal when I put weight on it. So I will be buying a new one here pretty shortly.

So I plan to manufacture floor jacks in nseberal sizes. I have a steel3.5 tin chibahack Ive ngas. So nce age 16 tgat has Never failed ne. I want to basically copy it but of course vastly improve it as much as I can. I want a highlift 5- ton heavy dutysemi truck hack. My brother has obe I can copy and improve. I plan on a BAD ASS all aluminum one as well. Remember my Skotchman Iron Worker can shear and punch up to1 1/1-4 STEEL and aAnything under Allday long. My 3.5 ton steel jack appears to made from about 3/8 thick steel, honestly is metric late being China. My jacks will be 3/8 cold rolled plate, I May do a 1/2 thick main beams angle and plate jack with 3/8 plate gusseting to lighten it up a bit. Will be made with speed holes to save weight. Got any design udeas you would like to see in a big HD jack???
