Kc 150 watt daylighters is all I have ran. They turn off street lights LOL. I'm not sure about hella

I was running 4 hellas 4000 and they were very nice, but id say if your going for a regular bulb the kc's are better, you can always go to HID and blow all of them away.

Yea you could get cheap lights and buy an HID conversion from eBay for cheap. They are ridiculously bright

If you get housings somewhere, id buy HID's from ddmtuning.com
A bmw fourm i belong to has had good results. Their customer services leaves something to be desired, but for under $100, they are good quality lights. Only issue i see is where you mount them, because you have to mount the balasts somewhere.

i bought some hella (500 or 550s??) a few years ago and hate them. they were supposed to be sealed beam, but every time they got dunked, they filled up w/ water. after wasting most of a day to dismount, take apart, clean and reinstall them a few times, i said hell w/ them and let them rust out. i'll never buy another pair.

I'd say at that price point it is mostly preference. I have a set of Hella 500's on my Suburban, and they are fine for what they are. They aren't super bad desert racing setups, but they light up back woods roads and mountain passes when I need them. I put them on mostly because they were disposable, and I wouldn't have to worry about them being stolen.
I Run KC's on my Wheeler, and they are great as well. Similar light output, but a metal body, which makes them a little more durable.

hello every body new to site but this is the first time i have replied to any thing what i use for lites are the grote 100 watt off road light only $25.00 at heavy truck stores then when the bulb burn out i replace them with the 165 watt bulb from wagner only $ 13.oo or so much cheaper in long run same light out put not as much coin not paying for the name kc
