nice looking truck...

1. do those offroad lights work? must get hot in there?!?!?!?
2. same note on the grill... it looks cool... even covers the headlights... should try and put electric motors like the old camaro ss had (or was it the rs???) that would be pretty snazzy :wink1:

awesome pics.your truck is sweet lookin.i miss ridin around in the desert.i used to be in cali mohave desert.that truck is nice.as to the hotness question on the lights,i dont think so.i have them on mine 500 watt hella, but i also have a metal grill like his so it doesnt really matter on the heat deal.mine are sealed and i can touch them when they are on.they are warm but not hot.also have to watch how close they are mounted to the radiator though.

The lights are fantastic ! the grill doesnt really affect them .There is a good space between them and the grill.i have electric fans on the inside of the rad , that keeps it as cool as it can considering its running a modified big block. Thanks for the nice comments , my blazer is a rare breed over here , there is lots in saudi arabia but ive seen only 2 or 3 here.

Need some help finding a picture of the linkage from the t-case to the gear shifter , its a small piece of steel about an inch long , that has a kind of bend at both ends. After wheeling i couldnt get back into 2High, so i gave it agood hit and it snaped.Drove home in 2 lo with the front hubs disengaged,Not fun ! Hey and nobody noticed i was getting stuck in the first photo,i was driving around in 2 high , until my buddy said hey man your front wheels arent moving lol, i must admit when its in 4low i dont think it would ever get stuck i was going up some insane hills and just kept going and going!!!! best fun ive had in a very long time !!

Not to High-Jack but what in the heck do you in Bahrain for a living? Government? Nice rig by the way. Yes, I did notice you were only in 2WD. HA HA HA

That is a nice truck! Must be nice wheeling places over there. I would love to visit over there someday.

My T-case gives me fits sometimes, it did the same thing, stuck in 4 low and I had to put the truck in neutral with it running before I could move it.

There are some great places over here, the day we took pictures we were in a military zone the fence had been taken down so thought we would have a look it was about 4kilos of fresh sand , hill climbs just totally awsome ! we were there for about 2 hrs before a soldier came over in an old BDF (Bahrain Defence Force) toyota land cruiser and asked us to leave , as the area was used to test weapons HA HA , he was a nice guy and followed us out and whatched us for about an hour when we reached the safe zone.Over all a great day ! Do you by any chance have a picyure of the mentioned pin ? its actually about 2inchs long i think and connects the tranfer case to the gear shifter ? I would appreciate any help as this bits are hard to find,i need a sample picture so i can fab one, thanks simon.

Sorted! Maybe someone else may find this handy in the future.I was lucky enough to find this at the scrap yard .
