A little off topic but I know I will get an answer here. I have a 92 Silverado 4x4. All stock. What size are the bolts that connect the front drive line flange to the transfer case? It is a NP241. Thanx.

Seems to be a common question and the answer is "it depends." Seriously, I just read a few past discussions.

From what I remember (and don't quote me on this) I think mine were 7/16
That's what I was thinking too.

I see what you did there.
You'll need a metric crescent wrench for those bolts

One of the old bolts that had sheared off remained. I was able to extract and replace. Matched up perfectly to 7/16-14.

That was my thought process, "Okay I use a 5/8" wrench on those so they should be...But I use a 5/8" socket or wrench.
