OFFICIAL daily driver thread

My usual DD is my '91 with 160,000 on it but at the moment I'm trying to put some miles on my '78 that I've just put a '90 TBI motor in so I guess that's a DD for a while!

someone needs a tuneup...
It has been tuned up with all AC DELCO parts, timing is correct, even put in a new O2 sensor. According to my Snap On MODUS scanner it's not running rich, I even went through the TBI unit and put in new filters and seals. After all of that it still gets 9mpg. It has 194k on it and uses no oil and doesn't smoke at all.

I was in northern Baghdad. I had to fly/drive down to Victory a few times a month to handle ING stuff. I got home the night before Easter.

what is up with the military rides / thay have the driverside tire on the wrong whay? thay have a direwction marked on them. just looking for the reason why? good work guys and gals we support ya.:thumb:

Nice Z-car... I had one years ago with a 350 hp furd 302 in it w/ the borg warner t5. It would spin the rear tires (245s) at 60 mph...

My DD is a '90 Burban, 4" lift, 350, 700r4, np241. Just installed a 14 bsf with disk brakes, 4.56 gears, 285/75/16 Dick Cepek FCII tires. Also, dual exhaust, headers, tbi + fi spacers, AFPR, cleaned and balanced injectors, 15+ mpg :D

How do I insert a pic?

It is on the additional options below the spot you type in. You add the pic as an attachment.

I think that the tire is mounted that way on purpose as with the limited slip when you hit reverse the tread is pulling for you and you get the otherwise unused traction----I think  In other words they are diretional tires and that is the reason for the arrow imprinted on them.
