Official TENTH ANNIVERSARY Rigs of CK5 pic thread- PLEASE READ POST #126

Thanks!
It was a real pain in the but to design and fit.
Works great on gas struts, and removable in minutes.

Missed that part...
Appreciate the heads up.
I'll get on it, to at least be sure the rig has a chance.

Sweet Burb, you should think about starting a build thread in the "The Driveway (build threads)" forum. It's a sub forum of this one where peeps can document their buildup. :thumb:

ditto....start a dedicated thread to your truck(s)....and be sure to submit pics directly to CanCan for the calendar....a pic in this thread won't cut it.

Iv'e had a number of people say that I should send in Pics of my Sub.

Never posted pics with CK5 before, hope I get this correct.
Did all the work myself including mechanical, electrical, body and paint.

1987 Suburban, ZZ 383 crate motor with Fast fuel injection system,
700 R 4 with full manual, reverse shift pattern,
ORD doubler cases,
Dana 60 front with ARB locker ram assist crossover steering and 5:13's,
14 bolt rear with a Detroit and 5:13's,
6" suspension lift (no body lift),
42" Pitbull bias ply tires on 16.5's and internal beadlocks,
Body is Bobbed 18", engine driven on-board air, Premier Power Welder, full cage, aluminum hatchback, 4 Corbeau bucket seats, swing out and drop down spare tire carrier, and plenty more.

Awesome wheeling in such a big machine!

How about a build thread?

Martin

Please post more about your custom top (in another thread so we don't de-rail this one) I would like to do something similar on my m1009 blazer. Make it look like a humvee :)

Not many burbs so here is my bone 89 suburban, no exciting shots cause I just got it road worthy again a day ago after a repaint and 350 rebuild.
