Anybody install OffRoad Designs Rear Traction bar Kit?
How do you like it?
Any pictures?

Thanks, Ed

I have the cutout that go on the axle tube and will be fabing up some kind of anti wrap bar next weekend.

i know that there mechanic tom has it on his and loves hes also putting some power to with a multipoint 406 il be doing the same here soon

I have one on my 71 Blazer, sorry no pics. I recently put a 396BB in along with 63in. rear leafs. The first time i took it out and dropped the clutch i thought my truck was going to blow to pieces due to horrible axle-wrap. I actually bent my leaf springs! Then I put new leafs on along with the ladder bar and all problems solved. Your rear axle still might hop a little but all axle-wrap should be gone. Also, instead of using ORD's crossmember, I used a stock t-case crossmember of the same vintage for a stock look

I finally got around to building mine. Pretty straight forward, but I still need one mroe piece to finish it off...You can see where the torque went besides just the springs...dooh!

Ouch, looks like you need an xfer case brase.

What kind of joint is that in the second picture. Is that the same joint that Off Road Design uses?

Thanks, Ed

That is the "RE" joint I got from Poly Performance. I am not sure what comes with the ORD kit but I saw Scobbydan use this so copied his design.
