OffRoad PAD

For the record I didn't build it.
I did after that trip though, and then sold it.
Yeah I'm aware of that stuff. But i don't generally don't pay attention to the BB stuff.
I am not really into rock crawling.

Who did you get it from?

A local friend that was a member, Ratzilla. He bent the frame pretty good so I swapped the drivetrain and lift to a white Suburban for a little cash plus the Blazer (2002). David (Ratzilla) and his twin brother both passed away about 5 years ago from almost identical stroke and diabetes complications.

I am not really either. I went with the flow a few years but I am building an overlander.

I'd like to have a capable truck to take everyone to big bend and live out of the truck for a weekend and overland out west some.

I have 2 projects in that direction.
The suburban that will be built for compact camping and mostly reliable.
And some day, if I ever get enough time, the crew cab with the chalet on the back.
I have all the pieces in a trailer just need to clear my plate from all other projects so I can build that one.

A good wheeling rig can hit the rocks and wheel to and from the trail. Or climb to 13,000 feet and down the backside of Mt. Antero to a lake nobody fishes very much.

That's my old '75 climbing up the switchbacks of Mt. Antero in central Colorado. Fun trip.
