So I went to Pismo Dunes this weekend with a bunch of friends to go playing with my blazer and dirtbikes and it ended with a rescue for some poor kids who were not wearing there seat belts. It was about midnight when we decided to take my blazer out for a night run, we only made it about a mile back into the dunes and were just starting down a large dune when we heard this loud crashing sound. We looked over to our left and saw this red GMC rolling down the dune, it had rolled only a couple of times when we saw a kid come flying out of the passenger window and landed in the sand about 80 feet in front of us. The truck rolled a couple more times and stopped half way down the dune and came to a stop on the drivers side. I raced my blazer over to the truck and parked it up against it so it couldnt roll anymore. We all hopped out and by this time the kid who got ejected was standing saying he was fine. We ran over to the truck and could see a leg sticking out from under the drivers side door, I looked in from the passenger side and could see someone trapped half under the truck with his other leg almost behind his head. Because of the way the truck was sitting we decided we had to get him out from under it. We started digging the sand out around him under the drivers side to relieve the pressure, thankfully a bunch of other people had shown up and we all together pushed up on the truck and gently pulled the kid out from under it making sure to support his neck and back. He was awake and in a lot of pain, luckily the paramedics showed up a few minutes later and took over.
