Offset 1" Zero Rate Add a Leaves

I've installed three sets but never offset (hell, the first set didn't even have that option). However the whole offset thing confused me at first...then one day the guys on here described it to me in rinky tink terms and I realized I was over thinking it.

Pretty easy. I'm no mechanic, but it went in pretty simple. I left the axle in the stock position.

in ORDs pic it shows the new center pins and two little bolts. i get what the longer center pins are for its just like puttin a add a leaf in but what are the two little bolts for?

The bolts are for offsetting the axle. The center pins go through the zero rate and the pack holding them together. The bolt goes through the zero rate and serves the purpose of the original center pin head in locating the axle on the spring pack.

Since I have some rubbage on the rear tire at the front of the rear wheel well fender opening I have been thinking about adjusting my zero rate to off set it 1" further back and don't have the small bolts any more does anyone know what size the small bolts are that I would need to get? Lenght and diameter?

If no one on here can come up with it I can try and find mine. I've got the bolts from two sets somewhere in my hardware drawer...hopefully I can figure out which are which.

ok i got one more question if i moved my axle one inch forward would it affect my sterin any or whould i have any drive shaft problems with 4in lift ond a stock drive shaft?

Hard to say on the driveshaft.

Steering yes it would. The drag link would need to be shortened an inch.

The bolt that came with DIY4X's rates are 3/8' diameter and 1" long. They are cap head bolts (use allen wrench).
