Registered, but here's a question... Why are different trails different prices this year? Are we paying the trail leaders now :pimp:?

I'm lost on what trails to pick from. I want to run with a few people and not even entirely sure I'm going to he able to do that. Should I make a thread for this or just post here?

I want Saturday to last a couple days. Can I request that? :D

Hey guys, I'm torn between Rusty Crack/ Golden Spike/ and Behind the Rocks. I wont help break any time records on Golden Spike but would love to do it. Behind the Rocks looks WAY awesome too, with all the ledges and climbs. Whatcha think?

Baba: don't do The Pickle, seems mandatory body damage. :D

Every time I think about the "No Left Turn" part of Rusty Nail I lean towards leading Golden Spike. I'd also like to be the first guy to lead a group through Where Eagles Dare. That being said, I signed up for Golden Spike

Yeah I am a bit perplexed

They were different prices last year as well and since no one commented/complained...

The basic premise is supply and demand. Majority of the trail runs registered for are on Saturday. I run the Friday and Sunday prices lower to try and encourage people to sign up for those days as well.

I also lowered the "Registered Passenger" price to encourage more people to sign up for that one as well.

Golden Spike is the highest price because it is the trail that we want to be the most selective for. I want the people signing up for that one to be serious about wanting to run it.

Also some trails "cost" us more. If the trail crosses State of Utah School and Institutional Trust Lands Administration (SITLA for short) we have a permit fee for them in addition to the BLM. Depending on the percentage of trail on the SITLA land, it can as much as double the price of the permit fees we pay.
