First of all your truck is my trucks IDOL! looks awesome man. Second I did some more to my truck to make iot less of a carbon copy.

Yea I know they are euros and not that popular on this forum, but to tell the truth there is about 5 or 6 green k1500 ext. cab short beds around my town. They all sorta matched as far as looks so I had to have something differnt. And my old lights where faded pretty bad.

I've seen alot of euros that look like crap, mostly the chromed out ones, but those look real good. Especially the headlights/corner lamps!
 
Thanks Ryan, I was really worried I wouldnt like them, but I do so all is good. Took a little work to get them aligned so they wasnt crooked. I think it was worth it though.
The headlights came with hella brand bulbs and they are REALLY bright.

The only downfall...........Now I feel obligated to spring for hellas "black magic" driving lights to match.

All said and done, it cost about $220 for ALL the housings new bulbs ect and about 2 hours (mostly aligning the headlights) Im not sure I could have went with new stock lights that cheap. And I got a differnt look to help stand out.:saweet:
 
That's a good deal... I need to do some work to the front of my k3500 and I've been putting it off due to how expensive stuff is...

I replaced the bulbs with some brighter ones and it made a world of difference but when I went to replace the housings they wanted $90 a side... so $180 total for stock replacements.

If you don't mind me asking where'd you do your shopping?
 
I like your lights. Just got my lights installed as well. Got them off Ebay too.:D

Thanx guys I like them too. SUB the chrome ones look good on yours with the chrome bumper. I figured they would stand out too much with as little chrome as my truck has on the front.

I used natural glass bulbs for the 194 corner lights they look blue but lite up white. Also used the silvanya silverstars for the marker lights they also have a blue look but light up amber.
The new head lights came with hella bulbs already in them and they are real bright.
I also did the 4 high mod with a switch so now I have low beams, high beams and low/high beams. I could write it up or just post a link from where I got it if anyone needs it.

These pics suck I need a better camera but this was the best I could do.

How do your headlamps work at night? Can you see the road? When i had my 95 c1500 i put those projector lights on and they sucked bad at night. Could barely see the road. i was looking at new headlamp assemblies for my Sub cause now that i have the clear corners the old lamps look really faded. I found some clear ones on Ebay that i am probably gonna get.

I still need to get the black strip for my Bumper i tore it off pushing my K5 into my RV area:doah:
 
B454RAT I love your 2 door. wanna trade? lol j/k did you hook up your halos and that little bulb in the high beams to run with your park lights too? I wanted to change that little bulb to blue as well but couldnt get at it without taking the whole light apart.

I actually had 2 front and 1 rear marker lights and 1 high beam that where burned out. Thats what inspired me to get all new lights.

I forgot to mention the fire strips under my tailgate was included in the $220.:saweet:

Sub mine are not projectors they just have a halo ring. They are real bright but I still need to adjust them, I see the tops of trees real well. I have a torx the correct size but cant fit it down in the hole as its a 3/8 drive socket style.

I've wanted a 92-up Blazer ever since they first came out, couldn't find one without costing your first born, or finding one cheap and not having any money. I picked mine up for $500, needed a tranny and brake work. I just got the tranny in it month or so ago, now it's getting an exhaust put on. I think they are 2 chamber Flow's 2 1/2" from the manifolds back, with 4x24 inch stainlesss tips. And no cats, should sound good....

I hooked the halo's and the small bulb to a different switch. Thought about hooking them to the park lights, but wanted to be able to turn them on/off without any other lights on. I wired up all four lights to come on with high's, just need to adjust them up, down too low. I used a pair of needle nose to take that small socke/bulb out, didn't feel like taking the whole thing apart.

I have pics with the lights on in the dark, but cheapo camera makes everything gray. I'll get some more and post 'em....

came out real good man, little things here and there can realy bring out a truck :bow:

just one thing you need to do though... set aside like 30 hours and pull that chrome paneling off the bottom of your truck! a good 3M rubber wheel from carquest makes removing the ape$hit glue easier but its still a major pain. I think it was worth every second though

If you use that rubber wheel be carefull. With certain ones, if you go too fast you can remove/damage the paint. I worked at a body shop for 4 years and I used one of those almost everyday.
 
Yea I want to take all the chrome off it. I want to paint it the new gmc dark grey metalic then all the stuff that is black all painted a matching black (door handles mirrors ect. are diff colors of black) black bumpers and some sort of bed liner in black as well (Im leaning towards rhino liner because they have the glossy UV protectant coat) Main thing is I want all the black to match. Then I think I want the AR chamber wheels in teflon

The reason I havent took off the rocker stainless yet is some moron b4 me riveted it on in unusual places. I am afraid when I take it off there is going to be rust under there around the rivet holes. So I am waiting until I am ready to paint it b4 I remove all the trim. I hope the rust isnt so bad I have to replace steel hopefully I can weld up holes and line over the top without too much body work.

The last thing I havent figured out is to go with bushwacker cut out flairs or fiberglass pre runner fenders.

Lots of plans no money..........I guess im a dreamer :doah:
