oh dear sweet mother mary I want this.

I have learned that there is no such thing exists as a clean untouched K5 from that era....it would have to have been airtight sealed up...they just don't exist...and just because it is from California doesn't mean it is rust free...ask me how I know.....maybe it's in California now, but that doesn't mean it's been there its whole life...and even if it was a 74 would rust on its own...

that said...wish I could have seen this one to see what ya talkin about...
 
If I really, really wanted a 1974 and I wanted it stock and clean and ready to drive I wouldn't flinch taking out a loan to buy one at that price....
why not? Somebody else has already done the work.
It cost's that much or more to get one into that shape...and that's not counting your time and labor...

I always wonder about work thats been done though...sometimes I'd rather find a so/so original than something thats been spruced up to sell...just don't know whats been done right or wrong.:dunno:

I think the shifter bearing bushing seals are wrong too.
