They're not very common but they are a factory item.

Check www.slosh.com, I know I've seen the factory brochure there.... weird looking for sure. :eek1:

Better toss a pair of steering Rockwells under there if you wanna complete a turn in the same ZIP code...:D

There was an airport limo service around Boston many years ago that had a LOT of those. Too bad all of them were 2WD. :(

That is crazy, I love it. Now that is worth making into a real nice limo. Only needs tlc, body work and interior work. Beats a stretched Hummer anyday.

Yep... not factory per se, aftermarket conversion by a limo outfit called Armbruster Stageway, who has specialized in multi-door limos (as opposed to just stretching the body) for groups, large families, or football teams :haha:

I saw one of those 10 or 12 years ago. It totally flipped me out, even more than the couple of 4-door Broncos I've seen ("What, Ford doesn't make a Suburban...")

If that thing has power locks, it must about kill the battery. For power windows, you could mount 2 of the normal 4-way switches in the door. How do you park it in the garage? That would be an 11-15 passenger vehicle, which is no more than a maxi-van, but you could certainly load and unload the passengers much quicker because of all the doors.

As for driveshaft, certainly it's a multi-piece shaft with at least on carrier bearing.

Also an aftermarket conversion by an outfit called Centurion ... kinda cool, actually, as you could get an F350 version :eek1: ... shame we never got those :)

The college I attend has a pic of a 60's version being used by the school in about 65 or so. Really cool looking.

that thing has the awsome potential that IF converted to 4 wheel drive could be the best wheeling rig for a morman family :haha: . with the very rear seat you could seat 15+ in that thing . Yeh I think some rock's with rear steer with some 49" iroks , CTD with some tweeks nv4500 with duel cases and a full cage that thing would be the family rig . ANd a big frikin winch just in case it get's stuck :eek1: .

Did someone on this list buy the thing?

If I had known about it... I would have tried to buy it.

I would have just stored it until I had the money to make it really cool.

So who won? Are you gonna fess up?
