Well, the Mrs. and I got our tax return back a couple of weeks ago and after paying off all of her C.C. bills and a few of our medical bills and buying a new computer, she let me order my 4" lift for our Suburban. :woot:

I was going to go with a 2" lift, but she told me that she knew I'd want a 4" lift eventually so I might as well go with it to begin with. I was actually given the choice between a new AR-15 or the lift. My head was swimming so much over the choice, but I had to go with the lift. I love guns, but Fillmore needs some attitude, not to mention altitude.

So I hope you guys are looking forward to another build thread later this spring. I still have some parts to gather, but the wheel has been set in motion for an awesome summer!! I love my wife!!!!

If your getting just getting the lift then I think I'd opt for the black rifle. Unless you have a set of larger tires to take up the extra space

Lift is already ordered and I priced out a set of 35" BFG AT's for $200/each mounted and balanced at one of the local shops. I get those in early June around the same time I install the lift. I had seriously considered the E.B.R., but I was given the green light to buy an M1 Garand this winter to replace the one I sold to pay bills when I was out of work last fall so the lift was a no-brainer.

Oh I'm gonna be a pic whore on this build. I'm doing a frame brace, installing my XJ shaft, a new rear axle, maybe a bumper build and a cargo rack, etc., etc., etc. It's gonna be fun.
