1/2 ton status
So I drove my truck out about 35 miles sunday night to a friends house and where I parked you could not see anything out of the ordinary. Drove home today and heard a nice knocking noise when i stopped and got out to open my gate. I looked and the entire bottom of my truck was covered in oil. I had just cleaned the underside at the carwash on friday, and changed the oil on saturday.
Well I figured out today that my oil pressure sensor seding unit (dont know what else to call it. thats what it does) was bad. I replaced it and filled it with oil. It didnt run all the way down, actually only about 1-1 1/2 quarts low. Hopefully my engine will last a bit longer. I was planning on rebuilding it but not yet.
Well sorry for the vent. I know it is mostly my fault for not paying closer attention.. It just sucks is all.
